Their experienced gardening tutors are on hand to help any would-be grower get started with the basics. Running monthly from now until July, this first session will cover everything you need to know about that all-important first step: seed sowing.

Whether you have an urban garden, small balcony, series of window boxes, or are simply searching for ideas for your outdoor space – Sarah will share design ideas for two small productive areas, a veg patch and a patch for cut flowers, and show you how to grow and maintain them.

A fantastic opportunity to admire the stunning alpine plants on show from specialist growers and nurseries, The RHS London Alpine Garden Show is not to be missed! This year there is a special focus on mountains and plant hunting, with inspiring talks throughout the day, a photography exhibition and a rock garden displaying different alpine plants as they would look in their natural habitat. Hands-on demonstrations provide a chance to glean some advice from the experts, too.
