So much so, we begged and borrowed some choice items in advance to give you a sneak peek at just a fraction of what will be on show at the fair.

You may have already spotted some of these images popping up in the press, getting us in the summer gardening mood!

Many thanks to N1 & W6 Garden Centres, Barbed, Judy Green’s Garden Store, NordEco Style, Blueleaf Plants, Thornback & Peel, Kabloom and The Urban Botnaist for lending us their fantastic products.

If you like what you see then make sure you get your tickets to the fair from 19-21 June, to view and buy the fabulous products items here and much, much more!

CALLING ALL GARDEN DESIGNERS!

We are looking for talented garden designers to create a beautiful feature garden in our 2015 fair.

The gardens were a real highlight at last year’s show and received a huge amount of interest from the public and press. They comprised Clifton Nurseries’ beautiful, Mediterranean-inspired garden ‘A midsummer daydream’, designed by Matthew Wilson. The Modern Garden Company and designer Tom Hoblyn collaborated on their ‘Urban Living’ garden, an organic, understated design for a minimalist city garden, replete with hazel trees under-planted with mosses and ferns. Burford Garden Company’s ‘Burford Comes to Town’ feature conjured the store’s eclectic wares with exotic finds and plants from France, Morocco and Italy. And ‘Out of the Woods’, courtesy of Barcham Trees, was where willow worker Peter Dibble and demonstrated his craft.

As Thèrese Lang of GROW comments: ‘This is a great opportunity for new or established designers to showcase their work to an attractive audience of thousands of wealthy, design-savvy visitors at the country’s only contemporary garden fair. A great PR story, the successful applicant can expect to receive a significant amount of press coverage and exposure both before and throughout the event.’

Our inaugural show attracted 8,000 affluent visitors from London and beyond, this year we expect to welcome around 15,000 visitors.

There is no fee to apply and there are no restrictions on theme or style of garden, but we do ask that all funding and/or sponsorship is in place for each garden design application. All applications will be reviewed by our selection committee, including SGD Chair Philippa O’Brien and the GROW London team.

For more information and an application form, please contact Natasha@growlondon.com directly, or call 020 8246 4846.

Entries must be received by Monday 23rd February.

GROW LONDON FRONT GARDEN COMPETITION WINNERS

We are delighted to announce the winners of our front garden competition, held in conjunction with the Ham & High. The prize of £500 worth of vouchers to spend at the Camden Garden Centre is split between Hampstead’s UCS Active and Caroline Dunster of Simply Roses.

The UCS Active garden was designed by Frognal Gardens and is a lovely addition to the area:

Beautifully planted and scented with roses, Carolyn Dunster’s garden lends real charm to her street:

Peter Hulatt, Managing Director of Camden Garden Centre, said he was delighted to sponsor the competition for the first GROW London. ‘I hope the show will inspire more North Londoners to create their own floral masterpieces,’ he said. As well as selling a wide range of plants and gardening products, the centre also provides employment, training and educational opportunities to disadvantaged Londoners.

GROW LONDON’S FABULOUS NEW CAMPAIGN

We are delighted to reveal our brand new campaign images and we hope you like them as much as we do!

GROW London Garden Fair Campaign Image

A big thanks to everyone who helped us create these fabulous images. In the image above, Harrod Horticultural provided the Haws watering can, Habitat supplied the yellow ‘Sasha’ pot and the ‘Vieques’ side table was kindly supplied by Kettal. The Sneeboer tools were courtesy of Harrod Horticultural and Clifton Nurseries.

GROW London Contemporary Garden Fair Campaign Image

To get this image perfectly balanced we used a Boskke Sky Planter, a ‘Leaf’ chair from Arper, Harrod Horticultural provided the Sneeboer rake and Burford Garden Company kindly lent us the apple picker, which our MD fell in love with and promptly purchased!

GROW London Garden Fair Campaign Shot

The final image we shot features an Aztec ‘Gem’ terrarium from The Urban Botanist and Sneeboer tools supplied by Harrod Horticultural and Clifton Nurseries.

Look out for these striking images in our extensive ad campaign appearing nationwide in magazines, newspapers, and around London in the coming weeks!
